THERAPY · POSTPARTUM SUPPORT · MOTHERHOOD ·  CHURCH CONSULTING

You were never meant to carry it all

Mental health resources and support for the high-achieving woman, the new mother, and the church community trying to care for both — a space to move from striving to rest, self‑understanding, and wholehearted living.

WELCOME

You don't have to earn rest, clarity, or compassion

Rest is the thread that runs through everything here. Not rest as a reward for finally slowing down, and not rest as one more thing to optimize, but rest as a way of relating to yourself, your body, and your community with more patience than the world usually asks of you. Whether you're a high achiever used to holding everything together, a new mother learning who you are inside a completely new identity, or a church trying to care well for the people striving inside it, the invitation is the same: you don't have to earn your worth before you're allowed to rest.

My Approach

Therapy can be a place to come back to rest.

At Living Wells Counseling, we believe that healing is a collaborative journey. We create a safe, grounded space where you can explore the complexities of your identity and navigate life’s transitions with the compassion you deserve.

My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and honesty. Rather than treating anxiety, perfectionism, or exhaustion as problems to be fixed, I approach them as signals and ways your mind and body have learned to keep you safe, capable, and accepted, often at the cost of rest.

Together, we slow down enough to notice your patterns, understand where they come from, and gently ask whether they're still serving you. Whatever door brought you here: your own striving, a new season of motherhood, or a community you're trying to care for, the work moves in the same direction: toward rest, self-understanding, and a more wholehearted way of living.

You don't need to arrive with the right words or a tidy narrative. You just need to be willing to get curious about yourself with more kindness than you're used to offering.

“You are allowed to be quiet. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to be exactly as you are.”
